Be A Little Damn Fancy : Gin and Tonic with Grapefruit and Thyme

PUBLISHED ON: 05.26.2022

The Gin and Tonic is one of the world’s most beloved, classic cocktails. It’s not your imagination: When served correctly Gin and Tonic looks, smells, and tastes, fantastic.

If you want to truly bring out the flavor of gin, ditch the high ball glass or the rocks glass.  Use a large glass with a stem and a big mouth (any decent balloon wine glass will work).  The globe shape of the glass, channels the aromas of the botanicals in the gin up into the nose of the imbiber. Besides, I think the glass looks, well, bad ass.

Keep in mind, your Gin and Tonic is only as good as both the gin and the tonic you use. Don’t hesitate to explore many of the new tonic waters and always use a high-quality gin.  Don’t forget your array of herbs and citrus garnishes you can use to experience each drink you pour.

Enjoy!
