There is something undeniably comforting about homemade granola. The best part? Homemade granola is incredibly easy to make and once you start, it is hard to go back to store bought. Homemade granola is not just more affordable , but it is better for you. You have control over the ingredients, no excess sugars, mystery oils, or unnecessary additives. You have wholesome, real food that tastes just the way you like it.
Whether you sprinkle it over yogurt, pour cold milk over a bowl, or grab a handful straight from the jar (highly recommended), this granola quickly becomes a staple you will always want on hand.
Making homemade granola is also a smart way to use up what you already have in your pantry. A handful of nuts here, some seeds, and dried fruit. Granola is wonderfully flexible and forgiving, and I need forgiveness in the kitchen.
