Cherry Pineapple Margarita Recipe
PUBLISHED ON: 02.26.2025
If you love margaritas but crave a fruity twist that screams tropical escape, say hello to Cherry Pineapple Margaritas. A blend of sweet cherries, juicy pineapple, and classic margarita magic.
With North Florida’s last freeze (hopefully) behind us, the patio is calling! It’s the perfect excuse to gather a few friends, soak up the fresh air, and raise a glass to warmer days ahead.
This cocktail is as delicious as it is eye-catching—simple ingredients, bold flavors, and zero fuss. One sip, and you’ll feel like you’re lounging beachside, even if you’re just kicking back on the patio.
Cheers!

Ingredients:
2 ounces Tequila
1/2 ounce cherry syrup (see recipe below)
1.5 ounces pineapple juice (fresh is best)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
Pinch of Salt
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a shaker. Shake, then strain over ice.
Recipe for Cherry Syrup:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup fresh or frozen pitted cherries
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a saucepan. Simmer until sugar dissolves. Cool. Strain out cherries.
Garnish with cherries and pineapple wedge.

Oh the patio is definitely calling! We’ve been able to enjoy mid-day patio times here in the NC mountains, but the evenings are still a bit too cold. Soon, though, soon. And when that happens? I need one of these margaritas in my hand!

Now that sounds very good! Much better than a regular margarita!

Okay, this is the most unusual margarita I’ve ever heard of… but I want one now! We have been stealing off to a tiki speakeasy lately and this should be on their menu. I promise I will make them!

Lucky you with your ability to enjoy the patio! Our cat is so sick and tired of this winter – yet, she still cannot tolerate the outdoors for more than 5 minutes haha. And this cocktail? So luscious and fresh!

Nice fruit kick! Although we have a frost every morning, days are quite warm and I could open a patio season with these…..
