Fall Vibes and A Gin Cidre Cocktail
PUBLISHED ON: 10.18.2022
Living in north Florida, Fall arrives late in the season, and we patiently wait for the heat and humidity to subside. There are Floridians in this part of the state who will be mourning the loss of consistent summer days, but they will find resolve and quickly embrace the cooler weather which will include a slightly altered wardrobe and drinking by the firepit.
Here is a cocktail which delivers the fall vibe. A bright, lightly bubbly, botanical gin libation partnered with a fino sherry and a dry chilled light cider-what a delightful combination! Of course, this cocktail includes the freshness of lime, orange liqueur and a couple of dashes of orange bitters to round out the flavors.
It’s a glorious time of year with family and friends. Take a break, step back from it all and shake a cocktail or two.

Sounds delicious. I’m making your mushroom and barley soup today. Subbing veggie stock to make it vegetarian.
